Our Story
Solar Harvest Ltd. is a premier solar photovoltaic (PV) installation and design company located in Camrose, Alberta. We believe each renewable energy system must be cost effective, offering return on dollar investment and intrinsic value. Each of our solar systems are designed and constructed to ensure longevity, which increases the cost effectiveness of the system.
We are comprised of certified solar PV installers, including Master and Journeyman Electricians with over 50 years of combined electrical experience. We take pride in our high-quality workmanship, which leaves our customers with a system that they can take pride in for years to come.
Our Team
Greg Arends, Founder
Red Seal Journeyman Electrician
Greg is a Red Seal Journeyman Electrician certified in photovoltaic (PV) installation. He is also a certified micro inverter installer and has completed numerous courses in Solar Energy and Installation. Greg has worked in the solar industry installing roof mount systems as well as contributing to the installation of some of the largest ground mount and tracker systems in Alberta and British Columbia. Greg has a passion for renewable energy and is excited to be a vital part of this growing industry. Greg and his wife, Katie, have four wonderful children. In his spare time Greg enjoys spending time with his family and being active outside.
Kyle Firth
Alternative Energy Technologist
Kyle is an Alternative Energy Technologist. As a graduate of NAIT’s Alternative Energy program Kyle is adept in the design and installation of solar systems. Kyle is knowledgeable in all areas of the solar installation process and is proficient in guiding customers through the decisions required to ensure that their solar installation meets their needs. In Kyle’s free time he enjoys backpacking and kayaking in the mountains.
